Product description
Special Offer Buy 6 Bottles of the Well-known Torrenova Terre Siciliane IGT White Wine and 1 Wine for free. Cantine Settesoli is a large Sicilian wine cooperative that exports a large volume of value wines under the Sicilia DOC and Terre Siciliane IGT classifications. The enterprise was founded in Menfi in 1958 by a group of farmers during a period of economic crisis in the region. Settesoli now has more than 2000 member winegrowers, with vineyards totalling around 6500 hectares (16,000 acres). The company initially sold only in bulk, but began bottling its own wines in 1974. Settisoli began by focusing on local varieties like Grecanico, Inzolia and Nero d'Avola, and in the mid-1980s began planting imported varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
